SOLVENT INKS - SUITABLE FOR OUTDOOR USE
Our solvent printer is similar to the pigment-ink based printer with the exception that its inks do not require any coating to work and so can be used on a significantly wider range of media. Solvent printers are primarily used for those interested in long term outdoor prints and vehicle graphics. The only draw back of solvent inks is its decreased color gamut and dot definition when compared to water-based pigmented inks caused by the "melting" of the pigment to the media.
